Raymond C. Pelote, a Partner with the firm, is a 1997 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a 2002 graduate of the New England School of Law, where Mr. Pelote was a member of the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement. Mr. Pelote is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Rhode Island since 2002. Mr. Pelote is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Mr. Pelote is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association.
Mr. Pelote concentrates his practice in the areas of contract law, business and commercial law, bankruptcy law and litigation, real estate litigation, foreclosures, workouts, evictions, title defects and disputes, general civil litigation, internal sexual harassment investigations for companies, and disputes arising from severance agreements among employer and employee. Mr. Pelote has successfully handled trials in the Superior and District Courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Rhode Island.
